Bytes of Blah #12

What is Bytes of Blah?

Just a collection of short little bits of news that I found interesting but there isn't a huge amount to discuss about them. I will include source links for the articles and such too.

Eurogamer developer sessions:

Who doesn't love a good developer session?

Notch refuses to certify Minecraft for Windows 8:

I'm not sure if this is for the RT version of Windows 8 or the full version but either way it seems like Microsoft wants everything on Windows 8 to be certified.

The Wikipad:

The Wikipad is kind of pricy for an Android tablet aimed at the gaming market that has no obvious hardware advantage over any other tablet in the price range, the only thing it has is the gaming controller wrap around thing and maybe the startup company would have been better starting off by releasing those controllers designed for other tablets and making a name for themselves.
Apparently it still has Gaikai support after Sony's takeover but not from launch.

Rovio tour:

Piggies.

Bad piggies is released!

It is pretty fun and certainly a change from Angry birds. Bad piggies is more of an engineering challenge than a war.

Steelseries free mobile controller:

I am in the market for a good mobile controller and the Steelseries free seems very nice. It is compatible with Android and PC which is just an added bonus but it looks small, portable and comfortable to use.
