What is Bytes of Blah?

Just a collection of short little bits of news that I found interesting but there isn't a huge amount to discuss about them. I will include source links for the articles and such too.
Google buys company that makes photo editing app snapseed:

Google really has been on a spending spree lately, this time they bought Nik software who makes a mainly iOS photo editing app. This purchase and Google's ownership of picnik could mean picasa, Google docs, Google+ and Android may have more photo editing options integrated into them.

Shazam does TV shows now too:

Shazam can now recognize TV shows too and then give you cast lists and music from the show. We live in the future.

Bioware says Dragon Age series continues late next year:

Exciting times for Dragon Age/Bioware/RPG fans as the third game of the series is called "Inquisition" and will be built on DICE's Frostbite 2 engine.
