Bytes of Blah #17

What is Bytes of Blah?

Just a collection of short little bits of news that I found interesting but there isn't a huge amount to discuss about them. I will include source links for the articles and such too.

I'm back:

Internet is finally fixed :D

Ireland is getting 4G:

I wouldn't get too excited that this is anything more than a hopeful attempt to drive upgrades since Ireland's HSPA+ network is nothing to write home about.

Autodesk's Pixlr Express:

Pixlr Express is a good mix between a basic photo editor and the filters that an app like instagram or Pixlr-o-matic provides.

iFixit tear apart a Nexus 4:

iFixit can sometimes find interesting things when they do these teardowns and I guess the Nexus 4's hidden little secret was the LTE capable chip. I would be pretty sure that the chip only has LTE though due to a cost cutting chip sharing deal.

Disposable digital camera:

I find the idea of a disposable digital camera a little "quirky" but I'm sure there probably would be a market for these things. The idea mentioned about using them to introduce kids to photography is quite a good example I think.
